Indications of Chest Physiotherapy
It
is indicated for patients in whom cough is insufficient to clear thick,
tenacious, or localized secretions. Examples include:
• Cystic fibrosis
• Bronchiectasis
• Atelctasis
• Lung abscess
• Neuromuscular diseases
• Pneumonias in dependent lung regions.
